He found…

He found the secret

to her heart.

Giving her the

freedom of an open heart.

No restraints to

confine her in.

He loved her

for being

only herself.

In our nature, …

In our nature, however, there is a provision, alike marvelous and merciful, that the sufferer should never know the intensity of what he endures by its present torture, but chiefly by the pang that rankles after it.

Hawthorne, Nathaniel.

Years drift by.

Haunted by shadows.

Looking for the lost dream

that was once a true passion.

The light…

The light in her heart

could not be contained.

Touching the soul

of every living being.

Otherworldly creature

from heaven above.

Her body belongs to earth

but her soul reflects heaven.

His genius…

His genius was embedded

in the madness of his mind.

He could only see the light

through the shadow

of his life.

She couldn’t hold onto

just one thought.

Too much caffeine with

scattered thoughts.

Tired eyes from too many

late nights.

Exhaustion numbs what

she feels inside.

Sleep awaits her when

she gives up.

Giving her mind peace

if only for a short rest.

The facade..

The facade was not

in the way she portrayed herself

but in his mind’s eye

and the pedestal he placed her on.
