This blog is my own personal journey through the world of poetry. My love of 19th century literature inspires me to write and hope that just a small spark of that passion reflects in my writing. Thanks for visiting!

I’m honored that you chose to follow my haiku site. Thanks! I hope you’ll comment on them from time to time. Just beginning to explore your writing but it seems solid and workmanlike, Universes beyond a lot of the online drivel posturing as poetry. Best wishes in your writing!

Hi, I wanted to thank you for the follow! Please be aware that my blog is a bilingual one. So you may get links to some poems in English as well as to some in Italian… Pictures, on the other hand, have no language barriers 😉
Keep up the good work.

Hi Rose,
It is a little short notice but I would be very happy if you would participate on my VBT.Belsbor just did a Virtual Blog Tour and featured me as one of the bloggers, here is the link: http://belsbror.wordpress.com/2014/06/16/genuine-gems/comment-page-1/#comment-10738 for my turn I would very much like if you would agree to participate on being featured. If you do choose to participate you have to do the same thing as the post belsbor did so (as copied as pasted from his rules he sent me):
Mine will be posted on the 23rd. And on our VBT, we will have the honor to feature 3 outstanding blogger friends and include a brief description of their blog or short bio of the blogger (2-3 sentences). Then, answer the questions the best we can.
1. What am I working on?
2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?
3. Why do I write/create what I do?
4. How does my writing/creating process work?
In our posts, we will have to mention the person who invited us. In my case, it is Imelda.
This is the schedule of the corresponding posts:
mine – June 23
yours – June 30
your 3 friends’ – July 7th
their taggees’ – July 14th and so on
If you have more questions, feel free to ask.
Let me know if you accept so I can feature you , if not that is ok too :)! -Much Love ~ Neha

[…] Rcrate: Rose’s poetry will touch your heart in the most beautiful way. Her simple yet genuine writing will make your heart smile and fall in love with her poetry. She states: ” I’ve always had a love of poetry and a great appreciation for 19th century literature. ” And her love and appreciation comes forth in her work. Her short pieces connects with the reader in the most gentle way, and she is definitely a poet who inspires me. I highly recommend everyone to check out her lovely blog and writing. […]
